As you continue your journey towards becoming, there is something you must know.

Matthew 26:14 Judas Agrees to Betray Jesus
Then one of the twelve disciples—the one named Judas Iscariot—went to the chief priests

There is an African adage that says “It is the rat in the house that tells the one in the bush that there is food in the kitchen”.

Matthew 26:15 and asked, “What will you give me if I betray Jesus to you?” They counted out thirty silver coins and gave them to him.

Your betrayal is at the hands of those closest to you but fear not because all things work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose. This is why you must make the secret place of God your dwelling, so that you can be under His covering.

The truth is no one knows the heart of men but God, The Bible says that the heart of man is desperately wicked.

The pharisees had been seeking ways to stop Jesus and eliminate Him but could never succeed until Judas made himself available to be used.

It is so easy to deal with enemies from outside because at least you can identify them and maybe avoid them but how about those close to you? Who can really tell the motive of everyone around you?

There are certain battles you don’t want to be fighting by yourself, develop a relationship with God so that even when you walk through valleys of shadows of death, He will always be there leading you on the right paths and helping you avoid the enemy’s snares.

Trusting your instincts is fine but who can boldly say that their instincts is always correct? But the Holy Spirit is never wrong.

Judas could only be used because he was an ‘inside man’. There is also a saying; “those who don’t know you can’t harm you like those who know you”.

Be careful of the ones around you as you keep climbing!
